Encouragement from the scriptures today and good words to remember no matter what our eyes see and our hears hear. Remember Psalm 119: 91 Your laws endure to this day, for all things serve you.
So there you have it, God’s word on the matter …
Here is what I sense God is saying to his children:
Christian … fear not, God is always in charge, and no matter what happens here on this earth, no matter the enslavement, no matter any hope that is dashed … remember “we win” …
Remember to love God’s statutes, do what is righteous and just, learn God’s ways, get discernment. God always sees when his laws are being broken, and God hates every wrong path.
Remember to love God’s name and let no sin rule over you, ask God to redeem you from the oppression of men . . . God knows his laws are not obeyed even though they are fully trustworthy and right … enemies of God ignore his words, but God’s servants love them. God’s servants do not forget God’s righteousness … even if we are troubled and distressed, God’s commands can still be our delight.
Ask God for understanding, call on God with all your heart…put your hope in God’s word .. meditate on God’s promises, not on all you see around you . . . God is near …
God established his laws to last forever, not just a few generations. Remember that
the wicked and God’s enemies do not seek out God’s decrees. God sees how you love his eternal ways … REJOICE in God’s promises. Continue to praise Him for his righteousness … continue to praise him…let your lips overflow with it … let your tongue sing of God’s words … CHOOSE his ways … let God’s law be your delight …
let God’s laws sustain you and if you have strayed ask God to seek you out.
Be not afraid. Jesus will come again and He will be looking for those who are looking for Him.
Luke: 21: 24b – 33 – Jerusalem will be trampled on by the Gentiles until the times of the Gentiles are fulfilled. 25″There will be signs in the sun, moon and stars. On the earth, nations will be in anguish and perplexity at the roaring and tossing of the sea. 26Men will faint from terror, apprehensive of what is coming on the world, for the heavenly bodies will be shaken. 27At that time they will see the Son of Man coming in a cloud with power and great glory. 28When these things begin to take place, stand up and lift up your heads, because your redemption is drawing near.” 29He told them this parable: “Look at the fig tree and all the trees. 30When they sprout leaves, you can see for yourselves and know that summer is near. 31Even so, when you see these things happening, you know that the kingdom of God is near. 32″I tell you the truth, this generation[b] will certainly not pass away until all these things have happened. 33Heaven and earth will pass away, but my words will never pass away.
